Your Hosts

KATIE THACKER

Katie Thacker, co-owner of Third Space Movement, brings over a decade of experience in the fitness industry and a passion for guiding others toward greater harmony of body, mind, and spirit. As a certified personal trainer, mobility specialist, kettlebell coach, yoga and meditation teacher, and more, Katie has helped thousands of individuals along the west coast unlock their potential through movement and mindfulness.

Drawing from her background as an ex-competitive gymnast and years of dedicated study, Katie has a profound understanding of spatial awareness and proprioception, which she skillfully communicates in her teaching. Her approach is caring, intuitive, and deeply informed, creating opportunities for participants to "nerd out" on movement mechanics while connecting to their truest selves.

Katie also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, which inspires her to weave her love for movement with her deep respect and care for the natural world. Whether trail running, camping, or simply soaking in the serenity of the forest, Katie finds nature to be one of her most cherished spiritual practices.

BRANDON SHERBROOK

Brandon Sherbrook, co-owner of Third Space Movement, is a certified mobility specialist, kettlebell coach, yoga teacher, and personal trainer with over a decade of experience helping individuals and groups move with greater intention and less pain. Known for his playful and youthful spirit, Brandon brings a compassionate and adaptable approach to his coaching. His sessions are infused with humor, encouragement, and a refreshing sense of lightness, making the process of growth as enjoyable as it is transformative.

A Vancouver Island native, Brandon embodies the adventurous and resourceful spirit of the west coast. With a knack for problem-solving and a love of the outdoors, he’s exactly the person you want by your side during nature explorations. Brandon is passionate about camping, trail running, and bushcraft, and his enthusiasm for spotting birds—like his favorite, the Northern Flicker—brings an extra layer of connection to the natural world.

As a certified kettlebell coach and soon-to-be mobility specialist, Kendall is passionate about empowering individuals to embrace the joy of movement and its transformative impact on health, wellness, and longevity.

Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Kendall’s love for movement, play, and connection began at a young age. With years of experience in a variety of dances, acro, soccer, rugby, and volleyball, Kendall developed a well-rounded and intentional approach to movement, focusing on enhancing health-span and emotional well-being. Kendall’s expertise goes beyond the gym. Known for their culinary skills, Kendall’s talent in the kitchen shines during community gatherings and events, adding a personal and flavorful touch to every occasion (like this one).

CAELIN HARRIS

Caelin Harris started as a volunteer, where her creativity and enthusiasm quickly grew into a role as social media manager at Third Space Movement. From there, she joined our team as Studio Support, during which time she completed her degree in Marine Biology through the University of Victoria. Now, Caelin wears many hats at Third Space, contributing her unique talents to a variety of exciting projects.

Caelin’s connection to the ocean has been a lifelong adventure, shaped by her upbringing on Vancouver Island. From curious childhood days spent exploring tide pools to four years of leading sea kayaking expeditions and teaching outdoor education, she has transformed her love for the sea into both a passion and a profession. Caelin looks forward to empowering folks in the outdoors and facilitating meaningful connections with nature, drawing inspiration from her recent four-month study and research experience at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre. When she’s not by the shore or on the water, Caelin enjoys snorkeling, playing the ukulele, baking, and hiking.
