Code of Conduct

Here is what we know to be true of who we are as a team and community, and how we aim to build authentic healthy relationships inside and outside our studio. Each of us is asked to use good judgement as to cause no harm to others or themselves. The following behaviours are expected of all individuals, including owners, staff, teachers, volunteers, students, clients, and contractors, operating out of Third Space Movement:

  • You are responsible for yourself and the space you hold in the studio;

  • You speak with clear, encouraging, positive, and honest communication to all;

  • You respect the needs and boundaries of all individuals;

  • You value awareness of inclusion, respect for equity and celebrate diversity to create a brave space for all. We will not tolerate any discrimination on the basis of age, race, colour, national origin, religion, body type or size, ability, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, family status, marital status or any other protected status.

  • You practice consent at every opportunity. Sexual harassment is a form of discrimination, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated in the Third Space community, inside or outside of the studio. Sexual harassment can occur between two or more people, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation. Sexual harassment includes sexually suggestive gestures or language, unwelcome leering or staring, and the making of sexual advances or repeated invitations after a previous advance or invitation has been refused.
